MTX 9500 12's or 10's or 8500?

This is my first post here and wanted to hear what some of your opions are for a system. I have a 01 GMC Sierra EXT cab. The back seat will be taken out. Thought about putting 4 9500 12's in but was told not to by a local shop saying it would be too much. So I want to know your opions. 12's or 10's and 9500 or 8500. Not going to any show or competion with this. Just want some knock to take your breath away. Any response would be great. Thanks.

ya awfully weird a shop would say thats too much....i do either 4 12's, 2 or 4 15's, but i dun know ur airspace limitations and big your cab acutually is....maybe a cut through ftw????

go with 4 7512/2 8515 to save some money and put the savings into more power on them do atleast 1000w per sub and fire them foward and port up on driver side and you will be amazed with this install very loud but very clean sounding , also tune the box lower than recomended to get a better lowend response (34hz) and if you just want to do the 9500 dont you are wasting your money just get some DD's
