You will get several opinions on here. Mine is that you should buy those subs if that's what you want. It's really not a bad price.

BUT, there are probly better options for the money, and I'm waiting for the suggestions to start pouring in.

You dont have to worry about blowing those subs. My cousin has two of the 7500 12's running off of a MTX 81001D. Its around 1500 RMS. In a slot ported box. The box sounds like its too small though. Those subs are rated at 600 rms a piece. This amp is underrated like the subs so I know its putting out more than 1500 watts. Its very loud and the subs take it well. If I were you I would get the 8500 if you really want them and put atleast 1500 watts on them and they will be fine. They might even want a lil more power. Dont worry about blowing them.
