mtx 421d

MTX, in my experience, makes decent quality amps. They are well above Audiobahn, and other low end companies. They put out their rated power, (in most cases), and seem to be reliable. My friend only uses MTX amps, and he is yet to have a problem with one, and he has been through at least 5 of them. They can be current hogs, but if you are easy on the gain, you should be fine.

Actually, almost every MTX amp I've ever seen was accompanied by a birthsheet claiming actual output to be somewhere (even if only a minimal amount) beyond rated power.

x2 on the reliable. I've known folks that ran MTX units for years with no issues.

If you can get one at a good price and it fits your needs then I can't say you'd be disappointed, rob_z89.

Well, I just had to return a 311d because of feedback INTO my system.

Think thats a fluke, though, b/c my friends have had MTX with no problems. I've had a lot of MTX equipment, just not amps other than this one, and its been very good, not one problem.

So thats personal experience, but I think its an amalgamation.
