Amp works but has something like a feedback whine coming through the speakers. Was a strong amp for my comps. Have no idea whats wrong with it. Missing most of the speaker and power screws and only two mounting feet with her. Is used and is a little beat up.

Probably has a broken rca shield ground. Could be an easy fix.Do you have a multimeter?You could run a quick check on it. Good price on it. If I had the extra money I would snag it. Love these old school mtx amps. Good clean power.

Do you have continuity between the rca shields and the NON bridging speaker terminals? Do you have roughly 1000 ohms between the rca shields and the gnd terminal of the amp?

If you can, try moving the rcas around while checking for continuity between the rca shields and the non bridging speaker terminals. If while moving them you get intermittent continuity you almost certainly have a bad shield ground.
