Sold MTX 1501D cheap/ HD3 15"

I have an MTX 1501D up for sale that I blew a couple mosfets on...

I should have been patient and waited til I put my group 31 Blue top in

stock alt and a pathetic battery couldn't feed 200 amps of draw.

I was quoted 125-150 to fix it with shipping but I'm just seeing if someone would like to trade a smaller amp for it or buy it upright for 200 O.B.O







Also have a 15" audioque HD3 for sale..

I guess I'll say 230+shipping

It's in amazing shape, and never abused.

Hey if i get a big amp on my stock alt and a fairly new battery, but the sub is only going to be running about 6-800 would there be a problem? Im looking at the MTX TA81001 only on a AQ SD2.5 which is 600 RMS i know it is overkill, but i really want to get it in case i decide to upgrade to the HD3 later. Plus i always heard it is better to overpower then under. So would there be any problem if i dont really turn it up past the subs capabilities? Like is the amp always drawing the 1000 watts of rated power even if the sub only needs 600? I dont want to spend that much money on an amp and have it blow up.

mtx charges $90 plus shipping to repair 1501d's. so you'll probably be able to ship it to mtx then have them ship it to someone else. iirc mine was like $120 to fix
