Good question, definitely contact RE about it.. It seems pretty ridiculous to have to send the sub in for them to fix it for such an easy fix just to keep the warranty //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif Normally companies will give you instructions on how to do it yourself in my experience.

um, there is not warranty on mt's...

i cant see the pics..but, im assuming its the dustcap...use goop glue, you can find it at hd/lowes..pretty common occurance.

Indeed.

The thing is, the motor on the MT has NO problem moving the light *** cone. The CA glue used to hold the dustcap on is very brittle, so when the cone flexes from something such as a burp, or extreme exertion, it pops off like nothing.

My MT15 did this the first time I burped it, a few days after I got it.

So, as stated by Matt... buy some "goop" from HD or Lowe's... and line the underneath of the dustcap and put it on... then use your finger to put a coat along the seam. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Also, take a look at the gap... you can actually so how TIGHT it really is.

Don't hesitate to keep running it as you normally would, other subs I might advise against it... but the MT with it's supertight gap will be fine.

okay ill try, somethign is up with my amp now, im trying to see they wont put out any power to a volt meter, i tried switching to just one amp and still nothing im lost at the moment im still looking

x2...ive used the ca and the "dust-cap" glue they send out..havent had any problems since..ive only had the cap come off the only mt i have that re built.

amp is fixed when i was testing, on the slave amp i forgot to set the gains on it, i switched it from slave but didnt move the gains so it was at 0, but the master i have no idea i hooked everything back up and it works now i think a wire came undone when i moved my box because it was hard to get the MT to unscrew it

what does wal mart have that will fix it?, because the nearest HD/LOwes is 45mins away

so what exactly should i look for CA glue? Goop? which is the difference, my dad is about to run to one for another reason ill get him to pick it up
