A customer just dropped one off to have us re-cone it, is it the same person? Gap plate height is 1" Magnets are 8 3/4" wide the vc diameter is ~3" (I have not take it apart yet, but its a 3" coil) if its edge wound flat wound. Round or square, I will know after I cut out the cone. We’re going to put our new coil in there anyway. I don't know the coil winding width (height) What is really interesting is that there is no venting, this was an obvious attempt to gain some Bl... not sure if I agree with that design. The spiders are just 8" wide with exposed leads. Rather small for the excursion allowed by the three 1" tall slugs. I think the excursion is certainly limited by the spiders. The surround is 1.5" foam. I'm going to recone it with our high excursion 18" frame that allows for 10" spider and over 2" clearance below the spiders. (same frame on the eclipse Ti pro) I'll put a light cone on with a thinner tall rubber surround or our PA cloth surround with is awesome for SPL. This is going to be a *****ing TC Sounds MT when its done
