Mp3 Titling

I have an Alpine MP3 player and I have also owned a kenwood before this. When I make my cd's I just make a data cd containing all of my songs. However, when I set my title to display the name on my deck it will sometimes display the proper name and sometimes it will display justr~mp3 etc. I think I have to change the Id3 tag, but I'm not sure how. If anyone could help me I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks a lot, Chad.

You can edit the ID1 or ID2 tags with winamp, just right click on the song in the playlist and choose "File info"

Not too sure about ID3 though, maybe.

I thought that an mp3 reciever would come with its own PC software or something

Yeah i think you need 2.8 or higher
