MP3 editor?

Ive got a few songs that for whatever reason either have part of another song on the same track or have very long periods of dead silence before or after the track. I need a simple free mp3 editor that I can snip this junk off the beginning and ending of the tracks. Any suggestions?

Audacity

Download the program, and you can crop, and fade in/out whereever you want. i use it for songs i have like that. You will also need the lame encoder. It is on the audacity page. This allows you to export as mp3.
