soundstream Reference series amps... the 740.2 is enought to drive any component set bridged or you can use its xovers and bandpass a midrange with C and D channels and A and B drive some nice highend tweeters.. the reference 1000D is prety efficient and has extremely high DF SN and slew rate... althoguth i doubt you hear a huge difference @1kw, its a very clean amp and does over rated power...
as for a woofer i highly suggest you look at Acoustic elegance AV woofers.. extremely linear motors strong cones and a excellent design.. 4 cubes tuned to 32 with 60in^2 of port area will give you good lowend and still be loud off 1kw.. grab the H not the X...
h/u ethier alpine eclipse or kenwood excelon... ethier of there highend H/Us will work excellent.. i like pioneer but for a SQ install those 3 are def better...
comps look into DLS,dynaudio,CDT,hertz, focal, pioneer, alpine, boston acoustics,ID.. personally im going to go with some CDT ES-07 midranges and the DRT26 alum tweeters... i have the CL-fg set with the tw25s and its a decent set for the money..
also if you want to save on weight as well as have a stiffer stronger box, use oak or birch plywood.. MDF is dense, but easly flexes... with birtch you can get away with a single 3/4 layer with a bit of bracing and its going to weight about 1/2 what a properly built MDF will weight...
