Yea I made sure I did that, the guy at the shop gave me a can of WD40 and told me to spray it and let it sit for about 15-20 mintues and it should pop off.

you will need to undo the tension on the emergange brake pads. They wear a groove on the inside of the rotor, so you will need a small screw driver to turn the little wheel that adjusts them. Its usually on the back side bottom maybe hind a small rubber grommit.
