Mojo 4000d vs Audioque 3500d

Just need some input on which amp I should run before i purchase tomorrow. I'll have the stock battery up front and two group 31 blue tops in the back for batteries. Temporarily I'll be powering an HDC3 18".. (gonna be real easy on the gain)

heard of too bad things about the new memphis amps, and audioque makes solid products. Prob be more effecient too

I know of quite a few Mojo 4000's that have gone up in smoke and they have a rep for being current hogs.

AQ makes a solid product with a warranty.

AQ hands down.

Get the AQ. **** mojos are current hogs and if they don't get the voltage they want always they'll smoke instantly...

Mojo puts out some crazyyy power.

And draws some current.

Either one will be a decent choice.....AQ prolly a tad better for daily and abuse.

The only thing I don't like about Memphis amplifiers is the lack of support for the circuit board, thus leaving it suspended in place by the FETs. That, combined with the horrible wave solder techniques that they used caused me to switch away from Memphis in 2007. I went through two PR amps and two M class amps in a matter of 6 months.

So, unless you have a way to isolate the Mojo from vibrations and a way to keep your voltage up, I would say get the AQ.

It does not appear you have the electrical to run either amp But I would take the AQ over the Mojo all day long....
