Modding 360 Controllers...

Just wondering if any of you guys have done the light mod (where all buttons are lit up) on the 360 controller? I want to do it, but don't want to risk ruining a $50 controller. If anyone would be interested in doing it for me I would pay you for your time.

i did a ring of lights mod onto my friends 360 that i refurbished. you really have to have at least some soldering skill and patience. overall though it was quaite easy and pretty sure the conroller mod would be the same.

there are a lot of tutorials on how to all over the place. just google some up and do some homework.

All you need is a T10 screwdriver

Ive never done the lighted button mod but the rapid fire is easy and alot better imo

Some people do it so there is a switch that enables and disables it then you can use you regular triggers but I prefer to do it so that there are 2 mini buttons right where your middle fingers sit when you hold the controller. So that the mini buttons are rapid fire and the triggers are normal.

I'm happy with the 360 contoller as is. I can understand modding the older xbox controllers. We used to do lights and power buttons in those.. It's cool that M$ paid attention to what the scene was doing and implemented those ideas into the 360 controllers.
