However, I did run a hdc318 in my truck for a few days off of a Kicker zx2500.1 @ 1 ohm. The sub was laughing at that power.

nope it has a little hole. if i take the seat out completely it would gain around .7 db and be a lil louder tho

nah, but i know nothing about the sub. i wouldnt play it to low tho it looks like u have a pretty big box. thats why i like this setup. it peaks around 36 and still plays up to around 47hz LOUD //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

yea its decently big but that is gross and it is also tuned to 40hz, because I loved how my hdc3's sounded at 40hz.

Definitely a fan of the sdcs, i just got rid of mine though (the ones in my sig, got some vids in the build log linked as well).

That's the class that I'll probably end up running this year since I've already won S1.

Will be doing like 6.4feet net for those tuned around 35-36. Not sure about tuning yet. I want to be able to get the lowest lines. how does yours play in the lowend region

We gained 3 dB on a HDC315 w/ aluminum coils when going from a Powerbass 3000d @ 2 ohm (approx 2000w) to 0.5 ohm (3000W +). That's a huge difference!

i gained 2.7db from a aq 1200d to a aq 2200d
