Item(s) Description/Condition: One is black and has a scratch across the logo the ither is silver hammered and the finish looks mottled as seen in pics. Im not sure why the finish looks this way. Bother amps are in pretty good condition.

Damm i love mmats amps and there cust service is great to. A few years back i picked up a 2200.05 on closeout cause they released the newer style. I had 2 jl 13w7's, put the amp in and 30 seconds later pop went the amp. Called mmats explained the situation, they apologized and amp went overnight to them. Next day the tech called me up, asked what i was hooking up to it, he explained that he will make some mods cause the jl's wire to .37 ohms and he said he will adjust the gain for me because the amp was putting out way to much power for the jl's (2600 at .50 ohms 14 volts). I said thank you, they shipped it overnight back and in went the amp. Played hard for about 15 minutes with the gain set just under 1/2 so i did exactly what he told me not to do, turned the gain up to about 3/4 and beat the living crap out of the jl's.

I was a mmats believer from that day forward. I'm trying to get a hold of taylorfade to see if i can pick up 1 of his stroker amps, mainly cause i want to try out the class g/h style amps. If i dont here back from him soon then i'll take 1 of these off your hands.

Speed world in queens ny at the time had been installing 13w7's in quite a few of there cust cars. It was always the same setup, 2 13w7's with 2 1000 watt jl amps. I was working out of kingsriders in brooklyn and we use to go to speed world every so often. While there on 1 visit we stepped outside with 2 of there reps and they spotted my van, apparently they had heard me blowing up the block on a few occasions so they asked what was i playing with. I told them and they stood there shaking there heads cause there was no way i was running 2 13w7's on 1 amp. So we showed him the mmats 2200.05 and it was like half the size of 1 jl 1000 amp and i had more power than 2 jl 1000 amps. I was killing the jl's and everybody that was using the same subs.
