After getting robbed for a second time some guy here locally is closing down his shop. One amp that caught my eye that he had left was a MMatts DHC1400.1. This amp is rated to do 1400 watts @1 ohm. He said he'd sell it to me for $600.
I think that's a good price, but, I am not sure if that's anough power for what I'm trying to do. My plan right now is to have four 12" or 15" subs. I'm leaning towards the Elemental K. Would this amp push that many subwoofers good (I think MMats is VERY under rated). I know size don't matter, but the **** thing is tiny too!
Other things I saw he had were Image Dynamics IDQ subs, couple of ID Max's, and a MMats 500.2.
Are the Image Dynamic IDQ subs any good? I know the IDmax is, but the two he has don't match. The IDQ subs looked pretty generic to me, but his price was pretty sweet ($130 for 12", just about the price of a K).
