Mmats D300hc. Problems!!!!!!

My friend just bought one off ebay a white MMATS D300HC (non-modded). And everyone i talked to said its SUPPOSED to be 1 ohm stable but we hooked it up and tried it on (2) Pioneer tsw 3004spls, as this is a mono-block it was at a 1 ohm load. But heres the catch and whenthe problem starts we crank it past 27 and it goes into protect, turn it down and it plays fine. We jammed it to a bass cd for like 30 minutes and it got BARELY piss warm but once we turn it up it goes into protect. So we cut it off and i just hooked it up to one sub making it a 2 ohm mono load, anywhere past 27 and it STILL cuts off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyone have any ideas as to whats wrong with it???? He paid $400 for it and he's highly PISSED!!!

Thats my first thought that was in my head, and i already tried it. He has (2) AMX 100.2's 800 watts rms to each 12 hooked up just before that and they SLAMMED with no problem!!!! I had it hooked up in place of one of those 100.2's. So its not the ground although i thought that too. Im thinking it might be the output transistors or capacitors, but i have no clue its just a thought, it makes me mad about the situation and its not even my amp.

Might hafta do that see what happens but his 3 amps work just fine in there NO PROBLEM so i dunno i say that hes FUKD!

maybe the amp is pulling more current than the other 3 amps did and his elec. can not keep up wit the amps demand. try turning the gain back some and see wha happens. or start wit gain all the way down, turn it up past 27 or normal listen volume and gradually increase the gains

check all grounds, if there's a shitty connection and it tried to pull lot fo surrent thatd cause a protect mode....

check the voltage at the power inputs when its full tilt.....if its lower than 12v then that might be a problem of the elect system not being able to handle it.....play with the HU tuning.....tune the gain with the HU 75% up...
