competitor $570 but u can get it for $720 without history in comp. Doesn’t come with warranty because it is not regulated and does not come with protect circuits and the want cover rookie mistakes on installs. It is made two perform at 13.8 volts but is a monster on any upgraded electrical system. This is what I found out talking to Dave at mmats hope this helps everybody out

ur not the only one, i have one and i paid $621.00 shipped from a comp guy who used it for 2 burps. U can tell if its a 4000 if u look inside and it has a fuse inside and one of the legs on a transsistor is snipped were the protection used to be.
