MLV or deadner....both?

This.
The deadener will reduce vibrations and the CCF (this is what you should use, not MLV) will keep the panel from rattling/hitting anything.
Absolutely - especially if you have a sub in the trunk. MLV blocks sound.

I looked this morning and it looks like the metal is flexing a bit and of course the plastic/carpet panel is jumping everywhere =)

thanks for the info

Is MLV what you use to block road noise and CCF helps against various panel rattling?
MLV in conjunction with CCF helps block and absorb sound (like road noise).

You can use MLV by itself, but it is really designed to be used with CCF. MUCH better results.

CCF by itself is used to reduce panel rattling.

So you put a layer of deadner around your car or what not, and then put a sheet of MLV + CCF on the floor to prevent road noise?
