They are both great speakers,the MLk have a better mid and the K2P have a better tweeter.Thats my opinion. The MLK165 go for $999.99 Retail I have a couple for sale 600 a pair let me know

I own the MLK and I've heard the k2p many times... The mlk has a strong midbass and very nice tweets and the k2p tweeter seems harsh and the midbass is lacking IMO. I am biased though so ignore what I just wrote lol. LOL @ guy above me selling things with 8 posts.

I've heard a few different sets of focals, but not the K2P's.

I just recently installed the MLK 165's and I'm blown away by them.

Midbass is great, they handle power like crazy.

I replaced some Diamond Hex components with them, and immediately I was able to turn up the amp gain and lower the HPF. That really amazed me. They're so crisp and clear. I'm only throwing 180w x 2 to them, and they can take so much more.

I know lyttleviet is throwing a lot more power at them.
