I can attest to the fact that Tulsa is a good job market. There's 5 people in my family (2 teenage daughters, 6 yr. old daughter and wife). All of us work but the 6 year old and she better start looking soon too! Lazy a$$ kid......

I live right off 38th and Garnett. I've been doing mapping for oil and natural gas pipelines for about 13 years now so I'm either in OK, TX or LA. Been in all 3 the last 6 years. Business is good despite that POS president we have trying to block every single fvcking land lease that crosses his desk. What do you do Mike? I mean, when you put your resume in for something what kind of job are you going after?

Which is why moving there made absolutely zero sense except for the part where you wanted to leech offother people for a while.

Oh yeah! I moved here back in 1999 from Milwaukee and that definitely took some getting used to.... That and the 100+ degree weather all summer....

51st and Lewis here. Trying to move more into the IT field since its what i'm going to school for. I've been doing customer service and tech support for the last 10 yrs.

I worked at Willbros on 71st and Lewis for a few years and lived in those really bad apartments on 67th and Lewis for a bit. Southern Hills Villas they were called. WOW! Talk about an open air drug market! That was before the wife and kids moved down. I can put up with a lot if I'm by myself and armed. I know the north side is bad here but there's parts of the southside too you want to stay away from. All in all though Tulsa is a good city. Certainly not the worst I've lived in.....
