i was wondering how a XXX10 would sound inverted in a standard cab truck?, thought about getting one and inverting it in between myseats and build a box thats around 2cuft n either port it or seal it how would it sound with eh RMS rating bein run to it.

this idea just poped into my head, and i figured i would ask, and my computers being way to slow to search right now. any suggestions or opinons will be appriciated

If you push a sub really really hard you will hear mechanical noise as your sub jumps between Xmax and Xmech territory being clipped to hell. I've heard it before. Unhappy sound. =(

Else, you shouldn't hear too much of a difference, but cancellation from sound reflecting off the motor/magnet assembly and the tiny loss of cone area because of the VC Former will make for the tinyest "d*mned if you'll ever nitice" loss of SPL. Some people also claim that air moving around that same motor/magnet assembly makes the speaker less directional and improves SQ by evenly dispersing the sound wave. Probably squeerish BS, but worth mentioning.
