My exact argument to my friend who is a vick fanboy. Sadly he is rich and famous and i do not feel he will do his due time.

the feds are alot more strict than state. they'll send anybody to prison. look at martha steward. vivk's crimes are way more serious than her's. his sorry black *** is going to prison. i promise you that!!!!!!!!!!

How is it racist?? Calling someone black is NOT racist. The man is stupid and very guilty and I hope he swings for what he's done. I never knew much about dog fighting until I saw "outside the lines" on ESPN about it. I have to say when I saw some footage of the dogs fighting I got this really sick feeling in my stomach and wanted to hurl. I hope Vick pays for this dearly and the fed. gov't needs to really put a sting on this very cruel and inhumane activity.

As a falcons fan, this is sad news but Vick is done for a while. I want to support him but there is no way to say, "Well....... Maybe he didn't know they were dog fighting in a house he bought". I dunno. If somehow, someway, he gets off, there will be many people upset, and if he goes to jail, there will be many people (fans) upset. Also, is there THAT much money in dog fighting to make someone give up an NFL star career, making milllions a year, for it?

Even if the dumb ****er doesn't get punished to his extent, no business will have anything to do with his ***. Who's going to sponsor a person who abuses animals? No one. Dumb ****** already signed away his fame and fortune, and chances of being on a good team ever again.

I'm thankful to see that Seth is quite alone is his opinions on willfully abusing animals who aren't given a choice in life.

I know far too many pit terrier owners to wrongfully believe that pits as a breed are overly aggressive naturally. While there are obviously going to be exceptions (and this holds true with any breed) wherein something is a bit askew with the animal mentally from birth pits, as a whole, when raised properly make really great pets/family additions.

Seth, you're one of the most idiotic members of this forum and that's a sad fact to come to light via one single, absolutely lunatic post.

If you find nothing wrong with it perhaps you should be tossed into a confined space with an animal who has been abused, neglected, starved, and tormented into a complete frenzy for no other reason than the over aggressiveness that becomes the natural result of said treatment makes for a better "show."

Should that bit of real-life karma ever find its way to your home and enact a bit of poetic justice upon your ignorant *** come back and tell us after its over just how much you think there's nothing wrong with it, okay?

i'll admit that due to circumstances of the crime and him being a hood rat looking individual. i'd say his crime just inflammed the whole racist tensions in america today. he sure did do a good job of making ghetto black people look really really bad...i think this is right up on par with gang **** and selling crack.

EVEN if he convinves the jury he didnt actually participate in the acts himself. he was knowledgable that it was happening on his property and obviously with his friends. at the minimum he's an accessory and should still get a harsh sentence.

As a proud owner of 2 well mannered and well behaved American Pit Bull Terriers, I am truly grateful, and relieved to hear so many people that are against what M. Vick is doing. After all the years of being avoided, stereotyped, and told that my dogs are "Baby-killers," this horrible crime has actually made me realize that most people are actually just misinformed. And now that it is on every TV station, people are actually sick that this is happening. These are things that have been going on for decades, and it is finally getting the attention it deserves. I hope M. Vick rots in prison and is forced to fight to the death, but i bet he would cur out.

RIP to all the wonderful dogs that were lost due to this disgusting "sport." Your death shall not be in vain.

I don't think that this situation is really inflaming racial tensions... I think that today's media is doing a good enough job of that without vick's case. Between music, TV, and magazines, there's enough tension.
