Miami area people with O-scopes

Just use a DMM. You dont need an O-scope.
The thing is, I'm getting an 8-ohm sub soon, and, although I could clip it completely with my amp and it probably wouldn't damage it much considering I'd only be giving it 1/4 of it's max RMS, I want to try to get an unclipped signal as much as possible.

So as someone who has always set amps by ear, tell me how you do it with a DMM.
Check in the amplifier sub-section. There's a walk through.

shit , if thats you in your ava , im suprized i havnt seen you around concidering your less than 5 miles from me.
Haha, yeah, man. I don't normally spike it up, btu when I do, it's great. It's not red and black and what not, though. We used kiddie pant to paint it. Haha.

If you set it with a DMM, you wont clip it as long as you dont go over the volume you set it at. The O-scope isnt necessary.

What are you even running now? And what 8 ohm sub will you be getting?

The thing is, I don't think my amp does what it's rated.

I'm running a Boss CH1200M (I know, shut up.) And I'm getting a Lanzar Pro Series 15", it's an old sub that Nismos sold me.
