I'm also using a Metra wiring harness to hook up the HU (obviously). I think I have everything wired up correctly, but I'm not sure about the "remote gnd" wire. In the ASWC manual it says to ground this wire to the chassis. My question is, would I just take the "remote gnd" wire on the HU wiring harness and splice it into the corresponsing wire in the car's factory wiring? Or do I need to actually physically ground it somewhere near the new HU? The wire is pretty short so idk exactly where I'd ground it.  Sorry if the way this is worded is kinda confusing, this is the first install I've done myself.
