Metallica, Lamb of God, The Sword

INTENSE show last night, cant move my neck anymore from all of the headbanging from lamb of god and metallica, the sword put on a good show for a realitivly unknown stoner metal band from texas playing at the canucks sold out GM place. 18 songs played by metallica and nothing of it was from shit, more shit, or st.shit.

was a sick show:peace://content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/peace.gif.2db28b618ed8d1964ebbe2f5021d2c39.gif:peace://content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/peace.gif.2db28b618ed8d1964ebbe2f5021d2c39.gif:peace://content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/peace.gif.2db28b618ed8d1964ebbe2f5021d2c39.gif

I love seeing lamb of god live. There great.

Never have seen metallica, really only would like to if they only played old stuff.
I saw them in Seattle and that is why they kicked so much ***.

Lamb of God pwned live, of course.

Metallica only played songs off their first 5 albums, and off Death Magnetic (which I like).

Aka nothing of Load, Reload, or St. Anger. Nothing.

Lamb of God was at your show? I had Down and The Sword. Both were pretty forgettable, but it was a crappy place for acoustics so who knows.

Not a fan of Lamb of God, but I agree with you on Metallica rocking out. They played a very good variety of songs, with the obligatory MoP, Sandman, One, etc thrown in.

Exactly why I thought it was a good show. And yes the 2nd headliner changes every month or so on the tour. Seattle (the one I went to) was the first date for Lamb of God, and then after December another band takes their place.

But I love lamb of god, thus I was stoked that Seattle was the first date they played! Way better than Down.

The sword is pretty sweet, seen em once. You guys might like a band called Baroness, they're kind of a progressive metal band but they're friggen sweet.

I've never seen Metallica, not sure I want to but I bet they put on a good show. Probably play the same as Megadeth, whom I've seen twice.

I saw metallica in 2003, right after they released st. anger. They played two songs from it admitting that the album sucked and pretty much just played the awesome classics. They actually tried tricking the crowd into thinking the show was over without playing One. Pyrotechnics were pretty cool.

Saw LOG last year at ozzfest. Decent light show.

Whether or not you're on the love them or hate 'em bandwagon, there is no denying that Metallica live shows are darn good. This one was no exception.
