Metal shavings in gap...am I fvcked?

One of the screws stripped out, taking the motor off the basket, don't ask how. take a stick and wrap with tape(sticky side out)

and just go to town in the gap....should work. It's what others and myself have done

Are you really that dumb? You do realize what a speaker is and how it works right? The entire gap is magnetized, if you were able to even put a magnet in there you would be lucky to ever get it out, and if you did it would be more of a headache and harder than just using a piece of wood.

Try using a microfiber cloth like for detailing your car. They're pretty thin and might "hook" on to your fragments better than paper..

Guy at work was being a dick and threw metal pieces in my motor I had sitting there. I just used an air compressor and tape on a stick and it worked fine.
