Have fun replacing the bulbs in those.....they go out quite a bit.

Nice pic when it works though. Just about bought a 73" DLP Mitsubishi for 1100 off QVC this year....but remember my parents going through bulbs every few months. 99 smacks each time.

For free though, hard to beat that.

I used a DLP for my gaming tv for a long time(still have it as a back up for my projector).

I loved it, and it worked great.

If they had that much problems with the bulb they had a bad TV or they should try turning it off from time to time.

Oh yes, becase of course it was on 24/7......

They seldom watched it as it was their bedroom TV....not to mention, the first one was sent back as it randomly turned off. Like I said, when it worked, it was one of the best pictures out there.

Go google about the bulbs, is a huge issue with these TV's. Why do you think they are so cheap?

DLP? They make LCDs and plasma as well....but being that size, I imagine it is DLP.

And just because you dont, dont mean others wont.....

I was a hair away recently.....pulled back do to crappy reviews and knowing what my parents went through.

I wouldn't mind having one of the massive Mitsubishi DLP tvs just for watching Bears games.

I usually use my PC to watch movies and television shows...
