Why does everyone tie the president and the economy so closely together? Congress plays a much larger role in the financial issues most people attribute to the president. And Congress is in charge of all govt spending, not the president.

Well I mostly attribute it to the war that Bush pushed so hard for. That was a pretty big waste of money...but I wasn't trying to say the economy is ALL his fault, but to think that he had nothing to do with it is just foolish.

The war. Come on. Yes its cost a lot, but this economic crisis is world wide... you really think our middle eastern skirmishes have create a world-wide economic slump? And those wars are hardly due to one man. Again, the president seems to work quite well as a scapegoat for Congress and our govt as a whole.

Well that's basically the job of the president. Just someone for everyone to look to when things are great or when things are bad. They know what they're getting into

No, I was talking about the Palin supporters and Teabaggers protesting only because they're sore a black man is president and doesnt follow their christian agenda. You know, the ones who supported the war and are now complaining about the after affects of pumping billions of dollars we dont have into a war we didnt need. The same people who were all for the patriot act and losing all rights to privacy and half the god****ed constitution but call the healthcare bill unconstitutional. The people who listen to Glenn Beck and ******** Bill O'Reilly while he fondles the ballsak of Sean Hannity.

I dont know about all that, all I know is you said the comic was about conservative extremists, and Obama is a prominent figure in the spoof. So you must think Obama is a conservative extremist, pretty simple logic path.

I think one of the messages the comic was conveying, that you missed, was that the financial problem is bipartisan.
