Was wondering if anyone has any exp with megaloud amps?

Thinking about getting a VX1000.2 to power one 12". I can get it for $280 new.

meh, I'd get something with a subsonic filter. audiopipe asm1300 is 110 shipped and audiopipe ap1000d is like 130 shipped. both have subsonic filters for subs.

It a D2ohm. I have an AP 1500 but that amp blows it away setup with the same electrical

megaloud was made by a competitor in slap back in like 04/05 iirc, or they ran it and pushed it like it was theirs... Milt Naseopoulos or some extremely Greek sounding name (pardon me if its not Greek and I offend).

I wasnt putting 1ohm against 4.

The vx1000 is 2ohm stable bridged and puts out 500w, so the APs 950w at 2ohms was noticeably less powerful than tha megalouds 500w set up in the same car on a Megaloud vx2 12".

I got it from Milt, hes a good guy has had a shop since 97.

So wait. You're saying you switched to a less powerful amp, and it got louder

really.. I know 500w amps that can blow out 3k watt amps.. if they are built like **** and will never do clamped are rms.. not to mention some brands not to mention put their "dynamic power" on the box which is essentially a strike of lightning to really get that out of it... very capable this amp could blow that AP out of the water
