After an (extremely) small amoun of research, I've found more than one study relating cannabis and Chron's(along with other gastrointestinal problems). It looks like the most noticeable effects relating directly to the disease itself is that CB1 agonists delay bowel movements. This has been proven.

Most cannabinoids are CB1 agonists, and I'd assume that any mid-grade(even lower, most likely) will give you some relief on that front. Combine that with less sense of nausea, and less fatigue, and you might have a viable treatment here. I may be speaking too far ahead, but I cannot stress this enough. If you don't want the high, keep the temperature low. You won't lose anything but time if you try to vaporize at too low of a temperature. And these effects may take as long as 30 minutes to kick in. You'd probably benefit from experimenting with the temperatures for the first week or so to really dial in on what you think best serves your purpose. I wish you luck in your adventure, man. At least you live in a somewhat lenient state when it comes to this.

I read pretty much all of it because it is a serious issue for me. I'm in a position where it could help and I. Can't do it due to it being illegal. I may just do it anyway If it helps me. I'm not gonna have a bunch of non crohns/arthritis people tell me I can't use a helpful drug.

Dude, **** it its not like you are gonna get in trouble for smoking. You dont live in the south. NY is decriminalized I believe just like my state and while we dont have medical, personal amounts are very rarely charged unless they have to (you being a ****, or obviously up to no good)

Looking at NY, it shows that anything under 25g is "not classified" and below a misdemeanor with max fine of $100.. its treated like a minor traffic ticket, you wont go to jail or even be placed under arrest

I smoke all the time and can give a fuck who knows or give any more fucks if i get a bullshit *** ticket for it. seatbelt tickets are more harsh.

I believe indicas are really good for chrohns patients, I would ask someone else about that though because I smoke multiple different strains and extracts on the daily so I really cant decipher the difference between them as well as some others can and I dont use it for any medical purposes. I just like to smoke.. well vape actually
