MECP installer certification worth it?

at best buy you get an automatic pay raises for being in MECP basic, advanced or master, i went to car audio school, expensive yes i know, but i had an opportunity to pay for it, got the basic book, studied took it and passed, its pretty easy, i also purchased the advanced book, its got some harder stuff in it and i looked at the master book and its pretty much eletronics engineering stuff, alot of really advanced things, just for perspective theres only two certified masters in Wisconsin so its kinda hard to get but i would get it, i mean get the book study take the test, you can take it as many times as you want you just have to pay again, its just another nice thing to have on a resume,
