I need some input on how to do well in MECA. What's the tricks with fusing?? Voltage limitations??

I will have 3 amps and up to 6 12" subs and I guess 2 12v batts.

I'm a USACi guy and don't want to get schooled when I go.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I can have up to 3 amps and up to 6 12's subs I guess.

I've got the rule book downloaded and see some discrrepancies in music sources. General rules say MP3, iPod, etc. but street says no burned CDs. Does that mean you CAN still use an iPod type device?

Since I currently don't run fuses for SPL, what's the best method? a bunch of smaller fuses???

thx for you guys' input.

If you don't want to go out and buy an asston of AGU's, you could probably get away with doing some small ANL's. A teammate of mine would run a zx2500 on a 70 amp ANL a piece.

You MIGHT be able to squeeze into S4 with 6 12's and 3 amps, but honestly it probably isn't worth the hassle if you aren't seriously competing. Just do S5 and driveby and have fun. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

thx for the good info man.

Word has it that the shop is gonna start with a limited class list to get things going. I talked with him on the phone a few weeks ago and forgot what classes they are gonna host.

I would rebuild for MECA as 6 12s and 3 amps doesn't lend well to current draw at my ohm load //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
