So today at a competition, mind you the first time i'm getting metered. i blow my amp right in the middle of burping.

so as im walking around im thinking to myself "****, alot of ppl are running memphis"

im thinking of re-doing everything...by everything i mean ditching my box/sub

the nine.1 will be replaced from ED...so that's sellable and getting a new 4 channel. i was thinking of even getting that one memphis amp that does 75x4 and 1100 x 1..the memphis belle. i saw it at a vendor and it looked indeed sexy.

if i had the right box, how would say 2 power reference subs sound..i used to have them back in the day and ohh boy they wanged hard...

so if you're insterested in anything theres a tcab box for a 15'' - r with the type-r..id like to sell them togather..and a nine.1 (that will be brand new) and a used infinity.

what do you guys think about memphis, and with the right gear/setup..what kind of number is possible

Theres no way for us to tell you what kind of number youll hit.

Shitty equipment properly installed can post a higher number than great equipment shittily installed. Just remember that.

The memphis stuff should be fine.

I had a pair of 1000d's at one point, they were alright. Not as effeciant as they needed to be, and they ran smokin hot... which is just how they are.

Very small/light per the power output though, and they were capable of rated power.

At full tilt, the Nine.1 will draw around 120 amps at 1 ohm. Are you sure your electrical system is up to the task? Getting a more powerful amp will just magnify that issue..

Jeff just had a bad day....plus he went to a SLAP contest where they dont provide "clinics" like MECA does, so he didnt even know his resonant fequency when he went in....not cool.
