MDF+wood Glue or burnt coils

When playing a song that pushes alot of air i get a funky smell could it just be wood glue/MDF and not burning coils

i sorta smell mdf and wood glue from my box on songs that push a lot of air. at first i though it was coil too, but ive pulled the subs a few times and the coils are still nice and orange/gold.

its probaly the coils, just turn it down when it starts to smell

unless the box was made recently the smell might be building up inside and being pushed out the ports when played..

feel the dust cap, if it's hot or "really warm" its likely your coils. if its not .....wood
