MDF prices

just wondering what everyone is paying for a sheet of mdf. went to the local hardware store and they wanted $50 for a 4'x6' sheet. Never bought it before and was wondering if thats a decent price or not

I think maybe you saw Plywood, which is usually more expensive than MDF. MDF around here goes for $20 - $30. I dont think Id ever buy it for 50. Where did you go?

no thats not right. sheet should be 4' x 8'. probably 20-30 bucks 1/2 inch or 3/4 inch

just noticed who you were.... lowes in oswego stocks 3/4" for a good price.... think it was 21 last time i was there, but sometimes changes. rabys stocks 1/2" but its more expensive than lowes 3/4. if you drive to clay, home depot up by great northern has the best price on 3/4". they sell 4'x8' and 4' x 2'. let me know i might actually be making a trip up there sometime soon. hell get ahold of me if you wanna build a box

Hell yea, I got trupan on accident and loved it. Went back later to get more, but they didn't have any, ended with regular MDF.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/mad.gif.c18f003ab0ef8a0d9c27ca78d77a6392.gif Little pricier, but worth it.

Used to be 20 bucks here. Over the years tho its increased. Just bought a sheet today and it's 25 bucks.
