If 4ga can support 135amps at 5 meters and my cable is maybe 2 meters if that and I have the 120amp fuse on the distro block shouldn't I be ok? I don't want to have to go have to do a run of 4ga from my battery to the cabin because I have one run of 0guage going to an amp that draws maybe 120amps max. Ideally wouldn't I be safe with a 0 from the battery to a 200 amp fuse with 0gauge then running to the cabin to a distro block that has 2 4ga outs, one fused for my MD2D at 120amps and one fused for 80 for my mids highs amp? I don't want to have to go spend more on 1/0 ring terminals and fuse holders plus the extra cash for the "new run" of 4ga, if I don't have too...
also isn't the md2d pretty decently efficient at 1ohm still? I mean more than 60% that that 4ga 135 amp at 5meter law applies too... Meaning that the 4ga would be able to draw a lil more amperage if need be.
