Mcintosh vs Sinfoni and vs. Brax

I wanted to hear from the experiencedout of Mcintosh,Sinfoni,and Brax

which is better to go with as far as SQ goes?

i've heard some sinfoni setups and also heard some opiniosn about them.

sinfonis use pretty good components within the amp and they sound is really REALLY clean and refine.

till the extent its a little too refine,

one person told me that, it will bring out the good stuff in ur system, and at the same time, it will bring out the flaws in your system as well.

another opinion i got ( from an IASCA judge), is that sinfoni amps, though refine, sound a little " under powered", with not " enough meat.

now for mac amps, haven heard it, so cant comment.

as for brax amps, what i heard is that yes it sounds tonally good, but its a bit dry and also, seems as though it lacks the power ( these wree the older brax amps)

my opinion, i'm familiar with the Butler amps, those are my fav all time value for money SQ amps. you can consider those.

All three are very good amps. Of those three people tend to use the Sinfoni and Brax amps...with Sinfoni being the more used of the two.

A lot of people have been using TRU Technology's Billet Series amps as you can change the cap and OP-AMP sets. Changing these components will change the amp's sound.

As someone stated earlier, high-end SQ systems sound wonderful. They will reveal all the little nuances you've never heard before on a mediocre system. However, all the flaws in the system will be revealed too. If you're using Bull-ish IPOD music recorded at 128Kbs, the system will show it...

spend your money on your speakers , install and processing. I love those amps but i won't buy them personally. they are so expensive because they have more power , better build quality , more reliability and better customer service. but i don't see any reason to spend that much for my amps due to their Sound Quality!
