Mazda3s vs. Tiburon GT?

Hey guys? What's going on? Well, I am in the market for a used car and I was just wondering if any of you have had experience with both the 3s and a Hyundai Tiburon GT? How do they compare? What did you like and not like?

I have been basically set in my thinking as aiming to find a Mazda3s, with a Scion tC as the backup if am unable to find any good MZ3s around... But recently someone suggested the Tiburon GT and I was wondering how it would stack up.

Redline: 6500 rpm

Top speed: 137 mph

tiburon's performance > mazdas

mazda's looks/mpg > tiburons

I'm not sure exactly what you are looking for.

I have only driven the mazda3, and its a fun little car. Seems more powerful than the specs tell it to be.

Well, Im looking for a daily driver that looks good, is reliable, doesn't kill the bank on gas, but is still fun to drive....

Im sure both would be good. Im leaning towards the Mazda3s and will probably end up with one if things work out, but I just wanted to get your opinions on how they compare. I am going to be going out soon to look at these cars and I don't want to blow off the Tiburon if it is a contender...

when i had my ser spec-v,i read that the mazda 3 and the sentras were in the top 5 most deadly cars in a crash.i offed mine and got a gas hog pathfinder.rather safe than sorry!

Def the Tiburon. I even prefer the looks over the Mazda 3. The only thing bad about it is the mpg. But I say its worth having all the extra accessories and performace.

Who really cares about gas mileage. My car is rated the same as the Tiburon and I am lucky to get 16 MPG on a tank...

Tiburon looks better but I'd go with the Mazda

Yeah, I dont care about mpg but I guess Im taking it for granted. Ive only ever had to put gas into a little 92' Sentra. It suppose to get around 30 but it only gets about 23. I really need to change my 02 sensor but Im just so d@mn lazy.

i have driven each of these cars multiple times and i would def. say a mazda 3,neither of them r all that quick,the back seat of a tib is way too small,the mazda gets better gas mileage,and personally i think the tiburon is a girly sports car,but thats just me

Uhm, can you not read? THeir quarter mile times have a .1 second difference.

Hyundai/Kia's quality seems to be getting better and better lately and the tiburon looks a thousand times better then the 3. I think it would be more between the Tc and Tiburon. Tc looks good as well, but is going to have toyota reliability.

And i hope you're not looking for performance from these cars. Id pick the mazdaspeed 3 then.

I don't think so. You can get the TC supercharged though i believe.

He's looking at used cars though, so i don't think its going to matter.
