May I Borrow a TermLab Mic and Box?

OK...

Does anyone have a TermLab Mic and the box that connects into the computer?

Will anyone let me borrow it?

This is what I'm willing to do:

I will overnight ship from you to me via UPS. I will keep it NO MORE than 48 hrs. and then I will overnight ship it back to you. I'm willing to pay a small rental fee if need be and I assure you that I can be trusted with it. If I break it, I will buy you a new one.

You also need the TL startup disk and Instacal. It will only give you 8 uses( unlimited time on ea. use) then you have to pay for a license transfer from Wayne Enterprises(100).

I've got the program loaded on a laptop already. All I need is the mic and box.

I'm not positive but I believe that ea. disk is assigned to a specific box. So if you've used that program with another box it may not allow you to use a diff. one. You may have to re-run or re-install instacal and then hook up the box to register.

I bet your right, Essay. You should know more than I about the TL specs.

Well...I guess I need the whole thing guys. Disks and all. I'll still pay a rental fee and what not, and I won't mess it up at all.

Actually all you have to do is re-run instacal with the different box attached and it should be good to go.

However, I don't know this for certain.

Not to threadjack, but on this topic are there any inexpensive spl meters that are decent. Im not talking of a quality to do contests just something to tinker with at home to see what songs hit harder. So far I have just seen like the little radio shack ones, but they top out at 130.

You will need the disk and code as well to make the it run on your computer.

It will work, I borrow my friends termlab all the time and I got the software from somebody on termpro because he lost his discs.
