maw12 on profile 400msx

ok uh.. dunno what im doing really. i got a mono amp for my maw12, its 400Wrms, 600Wmax, at 2ohms. its just not.. very loud. i have my sub wired in parelell to give it a 2ohm load. the amp is stable at anything 2-8ohms. should i wire it in series for 8ohms, see if its louder? i had my maw wired in paralell running off a bridged 2channel amp pushing 2ohms, my amp was not stable for that (which is why i bought this one) when i had it on the 2channel amp bridged at 2ohms it pounded. now on a mono amp, at 2ohms, theres nothing. the amp is refurbished, maybe thats my problem. my amp im using now is here: http://www.profilecaraudio.com/amplifiers.htm

its the 400MSX mono amp. got any ideas on why its not hitting? its in a sealed enclosure

its in a dual chamber sealed for 12" im only using one chamber tho, only have one 12" atm. waiting to build a single ported box. its not the enclosure tho cuz ive heard it wang in this box, but off of the 2channel amp. but that 2channel amp wasnt stable for 2ohms, and it eventually died. figured this mono amp would do it justice but its not giving up anything.

Have you set the gains correctly? Have the sub turned up in the head unit?

BTW, that amp is 300w RMS @ 2 ohms, not 400w

ive adjusted the gains multiple times. sounds like hell. there is no subwoofer volume on my HU. its a Dual HU.
