masking tape instead of blue painter's tape?

I'm fiberglassing a shape over a plastic doorpanel. The painter's tape won't stick to the door panel. Will several layers of masking tape working instead? Need this quick, I'm starting my project in about 20 minutes

Either will work. Make sure the surface isn't waxy, clean and dry.

Also make sure it a gooood brand. I tried some cheapstuff, and it barely lasted. Scrapped the whole thing.

duct tape works also.

Duct tape will be about your only option sticking to ABS. I have yet to find any masking tape that will no matter how clean it is.

what about pam/teflon??

THe cooking spray might not work too well with the masking tape. I also tend to use alot of clear celophane (sp?) tape
