Mark Antony MK2500X worth repair?

I have this MK2500X that has been sitting in a closet for years and I was quoted 80 to repair it. I've heard and read that they are really nice amps, then also that they are a little over hyped but this amp was before my time in the car audio so I know very little about it. I know they used to sell for a good bit but What opinions do you old guys have?
