man in bainbridge ga,which is only 50 miles from me hit the jackpot,166 millon bucks,heres the part that *****,he played cash option so he only got 95 million because of that,okay then taxes jumped on that and all in all out of 166 million he ended up with 66 millon,i know i still would be happy to.but that goes to show how much the goverment f?cks people.

the cash option isnt the govt's fault, its his for taking that, but if he took it, he dont care. i would take the payments, but im 22, he might be old enough where payments would outlast his life. and 35% roughly on takes isnt bad, the avg person claiming -0- dependents pays about 25%, jsut the larger amt at once seems like a bigger deal

Always take the cash option, no matter how old you are. You never know what the government will do. Like if this war gets worse or they need the money for some other BS deal. Just my 2 cents though.
