Keep in mind this box was built years ago for the beretta and the subs are weak and I don't think they need all that space. I'm just trying to re use the box and 4 subs I have because I'm trying to avoid spending too much money. I'm sure it wouldn't hurt too bad to take a few inches off considering it's an old school mdf box lol. Any advice would be appreciated, thanks. [QUOTE="4Fifteens, post: 8292793, member: 655129"] Ok so here's my problem. I had a 4 fifteens box walled in a chevy beretta, I recently bought a mistubishi montero and took the box out the beretta and tried to put it in the montero. The box was too big so me and my dad took 4 inches off the width of the box and the port. We got the box to fit but it still sits too high and I can't see out of my rear view mirror. Keep in mind it was a huge box and it had weak subs in it (planet audio z15) on 2250 watts. The box is 40inches wide, 33inches long, 22inches tall. I was wondering if I can take 4 inches off the height of the box so it wouldn't stand so tall. I'm just trying to get the best out of what I have.
