Makin some hot wings tonight....

Well i had a hankerin for hot wings, and we usually cruise down to one of the bars and pick em up there, but tonight i think ill try makin up a batch of my own...

We had a disaster a couple months ago with trying to bake them, they turned out slimy and generaly nasty, so this time im gonna deep fry em, then just toss them up with the sauce..

What sauce would be good, ive got some franks redhot, and some other generic dollar store wing sauce, any other suggestions?

i think im gonna mix my own ranch too, hidden valley in a bottle is kinda nasty:uhoh: its like way to tangy

if your testin it then get abunch of different kinds of sauces. Figure out what you like. Just pour different sauces in seperate bowls and just dip the wings in em. For BBQ i go Sweet Baby Rays and for hot wings i go Franks with a little butter and to tone down the taste a little add a little bit of orange juice or grape jelly. Takes some of the kick away if your not into all that.

Heres my sauce:

A can of Texas Petes hot sauce, Half a stick of butter, and a slice of Guava.

Take a pan and heat it up, melt the butter, pour in the Pete's and toss in the guava. Melt it all down and mix it up. Toss it in a big *** bowl, throw in your wings and voila. The guava knocks down on the spicy-ness of the hot sauce and gives it an extra tangy, sweet taste. Its mad good...

Mix franks with butter. That is how we used to make the sauce at a restaurant I worked at and they were great.
