major dilemma

i have no idea what im gonna do!

my trusty PS2 is all brokeded and i dont know what to do:crap:

so its either a 360, or a ps3

EDIT: 360 pro, 20gb, not the elite one... too much monies for dat

not a fan of the ps3 price but is the $50 extra worth it?

i hear alot that the 360 loves to break and is shit quality, but has good games, whereas the PS3 has great quality and not good game selection

kind of leaning towards the ps3 but i want to know what you all think:crazy:

360, i thought MS fixed the RRoD in the Elite, but the other thread sways my beliefs. Anyway, I play my 360 every day.

xbox is great quality.. PS3is fine too..

PS3 is a good system, but the lack of games kind of makes it teh ****. Granted a lot of games are beginning to come out for it.

The internal features of a PS3 are amazing. Blu-Ray, internal WiFi, tilt controller. Not to mention I think the online play is free.

But Xbox360 has the community. Everyone's always playing games. I'd probably wager 3x more players at any given time in Xbox360 than PS3.

I wish I had both. But choosing, I'd probably get a 360.

Only benefit of PS3 over the 360 is Blu Ray.

ps3 would be better if it had more games out

but ps3 has lots of features which you would have to pay for to get for the 360

ex: hd-dvd,wireless internet & lots of batteries for controllers.

good choice on the X Box imo, more games, more players, online is better (since you pay for it, they have the money to keep the servers updated and working). Also, in regards to the RRoD, Microsoft is doing a great job, imo, about honoring their warranties and with the turn around time on them. I bought a used X Box from Gamestop, got the RRoD. Now, the X Box was already serviced by Gamestop (was a refurb unit that was worked on by Gamestop), and there were no questions asked, sent me the box, sent it to them, about 3 weeks after RRoD I had a working X Box. Now, for the games selection...this should be pretty much obvious. Almost ANY hit title on the PS3 has been released on the 360 (Call of Duty, GTA, Madden, Guitar Hero, Rock Band, Assassins Creed, etc), but the games that are exclusive to the 360 compared to the games exclusive to the PS3 are better imo (Bioshock, Halo (yea, i know...but you cant deny it), Mass Effect, etc).

So hopefully this helps you justify your decision...and might be able to sway other people in the right way
