Power wise it doesn't make much difference, the A/B typically have a much much larger frequency response range, this amp goes from 3-50,000hz.

This guy came with a birth sheet that says it put out 418w X1 @4ohm 12.4v

Oh yes it's pretty **** heavy...about the same size as my PPI PCX480.
