Magnum VS 06 XXX

im thinking about picking up some Magnum 12's and a sundown ATM, I'm stuck between if i want them or a XXX15 06 model and USamps MD3. Price isnt really the issue.

I'm looking for low and loud Daily system. i have about 6 cubes net to work with. Any ideas im open.

If you go with the 06 XXX and want to use US AMPs I would suggest the AX3000DE it pairs good with the new XXXs. The MD3D is a great amp but the XXX likes a little more.

Hmm i have a 12 XXX at the moment and it seems to be fine off the 2250+ im sending it at the moment, i was running 3700 to it before and it was fine like that, but i dont honestly see to much of a differencefrom when i was running the Colossus for the most part.

There shouldn't much of a difference daily driver wise hell double the power could possably only yield a 2-3 db gain...

Tough choice.

I'd go with the XXX15, less people have that combo.

Loud...

The XXX 15 will have ~1.7 times the linear displacement that the pair of mags will have. Non linear I am unsure of...We know the peak to peak of the mag is close to 3" and the XXX is 4" or more...should still favor the XXX.

Sound...

I love the way the mag sounds. The XXX will also be a good sounding driver. Its anyones game between the two.

Id go with the XXX for the pure awww factor.

2 Mags will weigh less lol...

Both are nice. But the mags will do better with less power the XXX requires alot more as stated before.

Id go with the 15" XXX also.. Not near as many people have them as the Mags.. And that 4" of excursion should get lots of oohs and ahhs..
