Ok SOMEONE inserted that in there. I DID NOT say that. Another reason I don't come here much...too many assholes. Fear of thieves....you aren't a machinist. Going to a tech school and working for a little bit doesn't qualify you as a machinist. Unless you got 4+ years behind you and can operate, set-up, program any or a few CNC machines. I don't mean to be a prick but I find it very disturbing for someone who has ran a few machines in their life other than tech school and can just call themselves a machinist. But that's the way society is nowadays. I've got 8 years behind me and still climbing. Name some machines you've ran in the past. I'll state what I've run: Komo w/ Fanuc controls, Cinncinati vertical and horizontal, and with Fanuc controls as well, Matsuura with Fanuc and Yasnac controls, both controls very similar, Robodrill w/ Fanuc controls, Cincinnati Sabre, Cincinnati Arrow, Mazak CNC turning, and various models of Fadals. Also manual machinery exp as well. Btw, if your looking for a job, consider the aerospace industry. Around my area, it's the hottest job market right now.
